Asan World Flower Botanical Garden

Asan World Flower Botanical Garden (아산세계꽃식물원) and Life Is A Flower (LIAF "삶이 꽃이다") is a flower garden structure and considered the most extensive indoor greenhouse botanical garden in South Korea.

At Asan Garden, you can find over 3,000 kinds of ornamental plants and flowering plants of horticultural species all year round.

The botanical garden was inaugurated in 2004. Since then, people from all over the country, including international visitors, love the site.

Around 200,000 people visit and enjoy the over 1 million succulents annually.

Aside from the displayed plants, the authorities make efforts to create a culture of love and fun of flowers through various programs, including hands-on activities such as dyeing and smelting flower handkerchiefs.

Asan World Flower Botanical Garden has been working its best with the desire to create a beautiful and unique space like a flower to visitors for the past decade.

Life Is A Flower
Recently, it tries to take a more giant leap by establishing a subsidiary called LIAF.

LIAF is an acronym for "Life Is A Flower." It is a company that started with the desire to make our lives as beautiful and enjoyable as flowers, just like flowers.

Aside from the beautiful and fragrant flowers and succulents, LIAF offers cafes, restaurants, rest areas, and other useful facilities that cater to your needs while enjoying the place.

Like in many countries (such as the United States, Japan, etc.), Korea is doing its utmost to establish more "Garden Centers," which is not yet so widespread.

Main Mission
LIAF was established in October 2014 with support from the Senior Citizen-Friendly Enterprise Support Project of the Korea Senior Citizens Development Institute under the Ministry of Health and Welfare.

LIAF is an elderly-friendly company with 70% or more of its members being 60 years of age or older.

Currently, the focus of work for the elderly is on producing flowers and creating a botanical garden.

But in the future, the company will strive to provide jobs that reflect the careers and aptitudes of elderly people, such as experiential education assistants and flower commentators.
