Jungmun Saekdal Beach

Jungmun Saekdal Beach (or 중문해수욕장) is one of the famous beaches on Jeju Island. It is strategically located in Jungmun's tourist complex area.

This beach area has a beautiful extensive sandy shore, which earned the name 'Jinmosal' (meaning 'fine sand').

This extensive sandy Beach is over 500 meters long. It is white sand. The beach slopes gently towards the sea, which has an average depth of over one meter only.

The white sand is mixed with some shades of grey, reddish, and black sand. Such a combination of four distinctive colors makes the sight of the Beach more attractive to see.

Compared to other beaches on Jeju Island, Jungmun Beach's waves are stronger. This feature makes this Beach famous among surfers.

Exciting Beach Activities

At Jungmun Saekdal Beach, you can do the usual relaxing beach activities that you love--swimming, sunbathing, reading, napping, and eating and drinking refreshments (and other beverages).

For sure, you can also engage in beach games or sports, including volleyball or other organized group games.

But, you can also a lot more active and adrenaline-pumping water marine sports, such as...

  • parasailing
  • water-skiing
  • windsurfing
  • scuba diving
  • kayaking and rafting
  • yacht touring activities

I believe there is more to this than you can imagine for your exciting holiday under Jeju Island's summer sun.
