Deogyusan Mountain National Park (Hangeul: 덕유산국립공원, Hanja: 德裕山國立公園) is situated Gyeongsangnam-do (Province) in South Korea.
This beautiful mountain area was designated as the 10th national park in 1975. From the peak of Bukdeogyusan Mountain to Namdeogyusan Mountain runs 17.5 kilometers with an altitude of over 1,200 meters.
Deogyusan has five high peaks with over 1,300 meters above sea levels. Covering four counties, the national park is consists of eight large valleys.
Deogyusan Mountain National Park is home to various flora and fauna.
According to Wikipedia, it is a total of 1,067 plant species, over one thousand insect species, over one hundred bird species, amphibians, reptiles, and mammal species.

Restrictions to hikers: Hiking during night-time is prohibited and two hours before sunrise.

Bus
Take a City Bus at Geochang-eup for Hwangjeom. This bus travels six times during the day which takes around an hour to your destination.
Take City Bus at Geochang-eup for Songgyesa Temple. This bus travels for ten times during the day and takes around an hour to your destination.
Taxi
From Geochang-eup to Hwangjeom will take from 30 to 40 minutes.
From Geochang-eup to Songgyesa Temple will also take from 30 to 40 minutes.
Deogyusan Resort Sledding Hills
This resort specializes in tobogganing activity. This sledding resort, which was formerly called Muju Resort, offers over 5 thousand sleds for their slope with 125 meters in length.

Please, know that I have only covered a part of Deogyusan National Park. As a hint, I hiked from my hotel the Hyangjeokbong Peak where I experienced one of the best days of my life!
